Advertisements for design services, contractors and other misc. services and products are posted primarily on the Lone Star College System Purchasing Department website.Some projects are also posted on the website of Choice Facility Partners.
Lone Star Purchasing Website www.lonestar.edu/purchasing Click on the link for the Lone Star Purchasing website.Once you are on the first page of the Purchasing website, you will see a list of contact information for the people that work in the department.On the right, there is a link entitled "Purchasing Website" that will take you to a second page.On the second page, there are several links listed on the left side of the page to assist vendors.On the lower right portion of the page is a link to register with the Lone Star Purchasing Department.If you register, they will automatically send your RFQs/RFPs that are related to your area of expertise, but they still advise vendors to look at the site regularly in case they are not able to do so every time.Registering does NOT make you an approved or preferred vendor. After you click on "Request for Proposals" on the left side of the page, it will connect you to the current list of advertised opportunities.If you click on a specific project, a page will pop up that asks for your contact information.After you submit the requested information, the RFQ/RFP details will appear.If you see a project that is posted that has a due date that has passed, it means that the bidding is closed, but a decision has not been made.
